The Database Search
Upon completion of the database search, the information obtained may be all that is necessary to support your litigation. In high-end cases, where significant amounts of money and property are at stake, the database search serves as the foundation for further investigation.
Searching public and private databases will only reveal what the assets are. Acting on the information obtained from the database search and then physically locating and documenting the existence and value of the assets, identifying the subjects lifestyle, and daily schedules such as vacations, eating out at high end restaurants and shopping sprees will provide a more practical sense of the overall financial picture and can identify a lifestyle inconsistent with known assets.
To do this, HarborSite’s Investigation team will do the following:
- Conduct surveillance
- Physically verify the location of the assets
- Assess the condition and evaluate the value of the property
- Identify potential witness’s
- Identify sources of documents that can be subpoenaed for litigation proceedings
- Work closely with court officers to seize assets and satisfying judgments.
