Shooting Sports and Tactical Training Center acquisition

HarborSite International partners have acquired the Usana Firing Range in Southern New Jersey.

On 4/11/08 The partners of HarborSite International, LLC partnered with Veteran Virginia Beach S.W.A.T Lieutenant and Police Academy Deputy Commander Kenny Miller and career Naval Officer David Goldsworthy to purchase the former USANA firing range. In existence for almost 40 years, it was renowned for producing some excellent competitive shooters. Renovations are continuing. The range has 12 firing ranges from 25-100 yards, indoor range, cafe, classrooms, retail store and a canine obstacle course. HarborSite Usana, LLC will provide a host of basic and advanced training courses to meet the needs of Homeland Security, Public Safety, and Law Enforcement Special Operations. HarborSite President continues support of the Veterans Employment Transition Foundation. (VET)

HarborSite deploys Logistics Management and Security Teams to Hurricane Gustav.

On 8/29/09, HarborSite Management and security personnel deployed to Louisiana to support Entergy Power Company by providing total turnkey forward operating base management and support services for more than 2000 Entergy employees and contractors throughout the state.

HarborSite personnel were on the ground and moving into the staging areas and base camp locations even as the storm was moving through the region. Within 46 hours of arrival on scene, total Base camp Operations were setup to support the first wave of 1000 power company personnel in Hammond, Louisiana..

Base Camp operations and support included dining and catering services, housing, laundry, shower trailers, Emergency Operations Center, satellite communication, with internet and cable television, and security teams.

The second base camp established in Amite City, LA was totally functional within 43 hours and included the same services as the Hammond site.

Hurricane Ike

As Louisiana recovers from the devastation of Hurricane Gustav and HarborSite teams prepared to close down operations in Hammond and Amite City, LA, Management teams are preparing to shift operations to Western Louisiana and Texas for continued operations in support of Power and Railroad company operations.

HarborSite Usana obtains use of the former Port of Salem

The port with 700 yards of river front, 7 knot current, a rail line and has a host of commercial buildings for conducting large scale terrorism scenarios,force on force scenarios, VBSS, and high angle rescue operations. Programs are being developed now and will be offered sometime in 2009.

HarborSite International joins the Spear Alliance. As part of the Spear Alliance, harborSite USANA will be responsible for providing Firearms and tactical training throughout the Middle East. Ground breaking of the Spear Academy will take place in July 2008 with opening sometime in October. Stay tuned for more information.
