Protective Detail members can encounter significant challenges blending into the corporate environment, or, just the opposite, they may lack some of the skill necessary to operate in a complex hostile environment.

Recognizing this, HarborSite has integrated U.S. State Department close protection team (High-Risk PSD) standards with a curriculum developed for corporate close protection. The results, a very demanding and intense program that will give the student the knowledge and skills he/she needs to conduct operations from Baghdad to the Boardroom.

This course is designed for the experienced protective service, law enforcement, or military operator who will be conducting executive/dignitary protection and/or high risk hostile environments protection operations.

Training Philosophy
The HarborSite (HSI) philosophy on training requires the student to be in top physical condition, capable of operating in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Every training day is performance based and will not end until every one meets the objectives. We develop the PSD operators fundamental skill sets both in the classroom and on the range, but quickly transition to a series of dynamic, performance based scenarios that prepare Protective Detail personnel for operating in the harshest and most violent environments anywhere in the world.

These scenarios place the operator in force on force situations that simulate the hostile environments in which they operate. Close Quarters Battle and Advanced Driving tactics to Force on Force scenarios, that include the use of simunitions; these training techniques quickly validate the operational capabilities of each student and allow them to quickly transition to the fast paced, highly volatile, and violent environment that is prevalent in these types of operations.

HarborSite training courses are continuously being revised and developed to defeat the ever-changing tactics utilized by the criminals and terrorists.
