Executive Protection

(Five days)
Prerequisite: Law Enforcement, Military Personnel in Combat MOS fields and Select Private Security Personnel; these persons must submit proof of attendance of a professional pistol course in the last 2 years).
Class Size: 12 (10 minimum)

This course will cover the range of Executive Protection from the basic principals to advanced techniques. The course will be taught using classroom lectures and practical field exercises. The training days will usually last beyond eight hours and some training days will last until the evening hours. The course content will include the following:

  • Principles of Executive Protection
  • Case Studies
  • Introduction to threat assessment and risk analysis
  • Advance Surveys—preparation and planning
  • Residential and travel security
  • Protection formations
  • Attack on Principal Drills
  • Motorcade procedures
  • Command post procedures
  • Restaurant and banquet functions
  • Concealed firearms
  • Threat Scenarios
  • Final Training Exercise (FTX)

Ammunition Requirements: 500 rounds of pistol ammunition

Gear List: Pistol, concealed holster (No cross draw holsters), three magazines, concealed magazine pouch for two magazines, wraparound eye protection, hearing protection, flashlight with belt pouch, water bottle, rain gear. Clothing—business clothing, for concealed firearms (slacks, jacket, tie and appropriate shoes) for the Final Training Exercise.

Training Location: Training can be conducted via Mobile Training Teams at your facility or at a number of affiliate facilities across the world.
