Tactical Handgun Training - Level 1

This four and a half day course is designed to develop skills for the student who uses his weapon in a tactical environment. The course will start with developing fundamental shooting skills. The student will soon advance to skills that will reduce your reaction time, allow you to shoot faster with a higher degree of accuracy, and increase your confidence with your handgun.

This course will cover training in the following areas:

  • Safety
  • Fundamentals of shooting
  • Handgun Manipulation
  • Drawing from the holster
  • Shooting Positions
  • Tactical and speed reloads
  • Multiple target engagements
  • Shooting on the move
  • Malfunctions
  • Shooting while wounded
  • Shooting behind cover
Equipment: 2500 rounds of ammunition, handgun, holster, at least three magazines, magazine pouches, eye protection, hearing protection, weapons cleaning gear.

Course Cost: $720.00 per student. Includes instruction, and certificate


Tactical Handgun Training - Level 2

This four and a half day course is designed to develop skills for the student who uses his weapon in a tactical environment. The course will begin with a review of the fundamentals of marksmanship and handgun manipulation. The focus of this course will be on reactive shooting, forcing the student to shoot before all conditions are stable. Heavy emphasis on engaging partial targets, moving targets, low light and fighting while wounded. (Prerequisite for this course is Tactical Handgun Level 1.)
